Is We Were Here Tomorrow Free?

How much does it cost?

The price comes from the developer's official FAQ and launch announcement. The length of the discount has not been announced, so if you want it, buy early.

Why do some sites say it is free?

Because the Steam store page shows a Free to Play label. The rest of the official information disagrees: the developer has published a price, and the only permanently free game in the series is the original We Were Here from 2017. We will update this page if anything changes at launch.

Do both players need a copy?

This matters for a game you can only play with someone else. Total Mayhem Games has not announced a friend's pass, and in the previous games each player needed to own the game. Assume both of you need to buy it, then check again on launch day.

What does the Fan Edition add?

A Fan Edition will be sold on Steam with additional downloadable content and the official soundtrack. The soundtrack will also be available on its own. The developer has not yet listed every extra or the Fan Edition price; we will add both here when they are published.

Is it worth $20?

At around 15 hours, it is the longest game in the series. If you and a friend enjoyed any of the previous games, or any co-op puzzle game where talking is half the fun, it is an easy pick. If you do not have a regular partner to play with, wait until you do: there is no single-player mode.
